Some towns do not have hockey associations in their area.  The kids that want to play hockey in those towns get to have a one-time choice of where they want to play.  That association becomes their home association.  This happens mainly in Chaska/Chan, New Prague, Prior Lake and Shakopee.  As in every case, should they choose to go to a different association, they will need a waiver.
